Clutch interrupt Switch Wires Question

I am installing New Performance Machine Handlebar switches and including a Clutch Interrupt switch on my 2007 Harley Davidson Night Train Softail. My old Interrupt switch has a Black and a Black/Red Strip wire but, my new Performance Machine Interrupt switch has a Blue,Brown & Black. What should I connect together Black to Black, Black/Red Stripe to Brown or Blue or should I leave one of the Performance Machine wires unattached or spliced into my new PM Horn common wire which is also Brown. Any input would be great as I have sorted all my other wires but, need advice on the three wire on my PM

A Big Thank You to everyone that responded to my Post and Am happy to say that I have sorted those wires out and my New Performance Machine Clutch Interrupt Switch is now on my bike and working

    the new one will be:
    -normally open
    -normally closed
    -common / input

NFI what the old one is, but i would guess its NO and then closed when the clutch is pulled in.  a few minutes with a multimeter would sort it out easy enough.  in reality you only need two wires to make the circuit for the ECU to know the clutch is pulled in.  a wiring diagram would also be a life saver here.

Have a complete wiring diagram but only the OEM one so, only shows the Black/Red Stripe OEM and the Black OEM wires I just arent sure about the three PM wires I can figure out two of the PM wires, one neutral switch (Brown) and one ground (Black) but the Blue has got me stumped maybe Neutral light but, never had the Neutral light illuminate on my OEM when Clutch Interrupt switch was activated and there is no Neutral Light wire on my OEM  8 pin plug.Maybe I should connect it to a common wire like one of the two the Horn wires. The PM Clutch Interrupt switch wires didn't come with a diagram and they just state to match them to the OEM wires but I only have two Clutch Interrupt wires on my OEM and the PM Clutch interrupt switch has three wires so, Neutral switch,Ground and ?

Wire it so it does what the old one does, just ignore whatever wire you don't need, can't say which two that will be but as Tussuck said a few minutes with a multimeter will sort that out.

Are you saying that before, when the bike was in neutral and you pulled in the clutch that the green light would go off?

No I actually never looked at that as when I start my bike when in Neutral I never would pull the clutch lever, I only pulled the clutch lever in when I was in gear and would start the bike in gear with clutch lever pulled in

This is my Wiring Diagram and as you will see the OEM Black and the Black/Red Stripe wires go to Clutch Interrupt switch and the Black goes to Ground so, where would you think the 3rd PM wire either the Brown or blue wire go to?
The Clutch Interrupt switch is Left Side Hand Controls no's 7 & 8

Dont know mate, this is getting complicated.
I only remember having one bike (Kawasaki ) with the clutch switch that youre talking about.  Never really saw the point of it ,especially that cold morning up in Orange when the fuckin thing got stuck. I took off and the engine cut out. I very nearly dropped the bike because of it.
It might be a bit noisy but if I was you I would hook up that spare wire to the horn.
At least then you should be able to figure out when youre in neutral.

i have the same for the sporty and the bugger is that i do not see the switch itself on any drawing.

Found it... the other wire is pin 8 on my connector and is black and goes to ground.  So the clutch switch must be a normally open and then closed when activated.  use a multimeter to confirm that the wires are a short when the old switch is activited.  then just find the same 2 on the new switch and cut the spare one off.

I have already removed all OEM wiring and connected Right side wires including Brake light switch and all works and am about to feed the Left side PM wires through the bars, have figured out all wires except the Blue and Brown ones on the PM interrupt switch but, I know one of them connects to my OEM Black/Red Stripe wire and I don't think that I will have  to much problem working out which wire needs to be connected to my OEM Black/Red Stripe but, what do you reckon that extra wire on the PM 3 wire Clutch interrupt switch be there for.

Its a NO/NC/Common switch so find the two wires that work like the OEM setup and then just cut the 3rd wire off..  One of the wires will definitely not be used.
