    Thought I’d introduce myself! So this is my ride. Street 500. Got to say I love it. I’ve come from sports bike (Honda Fireblade) to Harley. Hard not to when hubby has a Dyna. 
    Any ideas on the best fender eliminator at all?

    Hi Laiiney and welcome to the forums, bit of a change going from a Fireblade to a less powerful Street 500? I'm not sure if many members ride the 500? but you could try Rollies Speed shop or Revzilla to see what they have

    Thank you. Yeah it is a change but it’s the way to go. I’ve already noticed a big difference in the centre of gravity, positioning and weight distribution. I’m absolutely loving it and looking to get an 883 once I’m confident on this one.

    I had to google the street 500. What confused me was that big black thing in front of the motor. 
    I thought that was the battery.

    Can you take a pic of the back of the bike that you want to tidy up?
    There is a few artisans on this site who have probably done what youre doing.

    Laiiney I know more than one person that brought an 883 thinking the 1200 would be too much for them only to have regrets shortly after, chuck a leg over both before you buy would be my suggestion and welcome to the forum.

    Yeah, I second that.  Shop around for the right deal and you'll only pay $1k more for a 1200 over an 883.  The 1200 is a keeper, whereas you'll grow out of the 883.  883 is ok if you ride a lot on your own or with a group at mellow pace.  But if you ride with others that have bigger cruisers or sport touring bikes, the 1200 will keep up fine.

    Thank you so much! I’ve been looking at the 1200 also! Probably the best move for my riding! Appreciate the input for sure
