When I moved out here I thought I would be stuffed for a good local bike shop, but got lucky to find a great one only about 35 km up the road. It reminds me of what they used to be like.
So I'm happy to spend my money there, lovely people, well connected for parts, happy to order stuff in.
    Reperren Motorcycles in Yarraman.
Got a new dancing shoe for the back of the Sporty there, moneys a bit tight so Bridgestone Battlecruise, will see what it's like. They reckoned they'd never had a customer turn up for a new tyre carrying the wheel on a bike.

I met a bloke who had a dead pig hanging off the back of his bike.
I mentioned to him that you dont see that every day. He said naa, first time Ive done it

Miss the days of the old school shop. Was pissed off when my local decided to go all "boutique" with fancy crap around the place and floors you could eat off. The final straw was when they decided to also work on cars.

So I'm not alone. I did that when I was 21 and working at the abattoirs. Bought a whole lamb nice and cheap with only the bike as transport. Copper pulled me over on the way home, reckoned that there had to be a law against it but couldn't think of it. Nice cop actually, we had a good laugh about it but asked that next time if I could wrap it in something so the public couldn't see it instead of using a clear plastic sheet.

When the bike is your only transport you got to get inventive, I used to wrap the 12 gauge in a blanket and tie it across the pillion to go hunting on the FJ1200, looked kinda like a long skinny bedroll.....
