Led indicator upgrade question

Hi. I have a 98 fatboy and I upgraded to led indicators. It was all good for a while then I noticed the front indicators were scraping the fuel tank on full lock in the corners. So I decided to change the front led to mini led indicators. I fitted the first one and tested it and it doesn't flash, it just stays on. The current LEDs have fifteen LEDs in them and the new ones are minis only have three LEDs. Is it the different amount of LEDs throwing the flashing out? Thanks. Rick.

I had the same problem with the blinkers hitting the tank so I loosened off the riser bolts and turned the bars up a bit. Just enough to clear the tank on full lock.
I realised it was more comfortable than before and turned them up a bit more.
Might be an option if you cant get the new ones to work.

You might need a Badlands Load Equaliser mate, think you can get them local, eazyr or the like.

It's got a load equaliser on it. It has been working fine for a couple of years. I put a new led indicator on the front and it's just staying on.

    Thanks mate.

Maybe the flasher unit decided this was the time to cark it?

The other three indicators still flash. I have only wired one of the small ones up so far. Cheers. Rick.
