Hey guys, keep an eye on yer rego being up to date. Due to too much going on in my life I missed the renewal date on my wife's little car (SA rego) and was picked up by a fixed camera on the SE freeway resulting in a $1500 fine. The bastard of it is we did another trip through the same cameras a week or so later so waiting for another expiation notice in the mail shortly.

That's shit Will! Happened to us the first year of no stickers, wife drive her cousin up to the Tablelands, they pruned it down to one fine as it was the same trip, still hurt though.

I am retired and forget shit so I have my vehicles on direct debit. You can do it here in SA but not sure about other states. Never runs out. Goes until you stop it. Cheers

ith the CCTV of his car and said is that yours? He said yes, and she said I can't turn on the pump because your car is unregistered. He then spat the dummy. I paid and left so I don't know if he got fuel.

You can put any rego number into VicRoads website and check it. It would be the same in every state. A lot of the servos have number recognition cameras on each pump for drive offs.
