Street 500 no power

    Took my bike out for a ride last Sunday, then put it away in the shed. Fob was inside the house. 

    Indicators went off (audible alarm is disconnected) 

    The next day it had no power to dash, ignition, lights…nothing. 

    I’ve checked main fuse, and replaced just incase. 

    Followed procedure and disconnected earth, main fuse etc to remove battery and check voltage, I charged it overnight and still nothing. 

    I waited until this weekend to fiddle with it and check other fuses etc. I took the battery into a local battery shop where it came back at 12.6 volts and 250 crank amps, it’s a 220CCA battery….

    Earth has been cleaned up, battery is connected to correct polarity, new fob battery fitted. 

    I literally have no idea where to start! 

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    G'day Tom. Not sure if there's too many gurus here with experience with your particular bike but Im sure somebody might be able to help.
    A Street 500 ?   Do you live in Queensland  by any chance?

    We had one a few months back where the earth lead , not battery end, but the other end ( if that makes sense) had failed connectivity with the earth post on the frame. Worth a look.
