bought s/hand HD branded 2 into 1 off ebay about 10 years ago for $150 + freight ...while not the best out there, it settled my ol evo down well, tuning & performance wise compared to the previous V&H longshots that causing all manner of bother....slight tilt of muffler no more scrapping either & IMO looks better than straight anyways...

Clearly different primary tube lengths between the Fatcat and the Lowcat, no black  Fatcats around, maybe a second hand chrome one would be the go, tilt the muffler up a bit and powder coat it, possible?

Different part numbers for the softail lowcat and the breakout lowcat. The header pipes on the breakout lowcat modified to clear the top vent line, maybe other differences.
My fatcat has uniform diameter header pipes. They may have gone to stepped headers only for the fatcat with the 12 mm sensor bikes.
My options were performance baffle or louvered baffle; they came out with a spiral louvered baffle for the fatcat on the baggers which performed well but would not fit the dyna fatcat muffler and likely the softail fatcat muffler.
    Quite a few subtle differences.
Send them an email before you pull the trigger, you should get a reply from someone who has the answers.

Gone off the Lowcat, near convinced it's not as good a pipe, be Fatcat or another brand equivalent I'm thinking. Can get a new chrome one in Oz from a couple of places, buuuuut I need tyres and got to do these spokes so it's not gunna happen real soon.

Given your advancing years it's probably a safe bet to say you have forgotten more than he knows 🤣
My synopsis, stepped headers, D&D, good 😁
As an add, no it's not worth 33 minutes of your time mate, I had to rewind several times/places just to try an stay with him cause I kept wandering off into my own thoughts.

They seem to do good work, I have seen some of the results etc, but yes I am getting older. He looks younger than my beard. Here has great enthusiasm for the job.

Matt must be young, he can drive and YouTube Vlog at the same time !

He appears to be pretty good at what he does, and gets positive feedback from his customers.

He knows stuff for sure.....I get a bit skeptical when i hear terms like back pressure being bandied about as a good thing, when you are pitching to a certain audience you can say whatever you want and it will be accepted as fact to a large degree.

Leroy had a 250i in the back of a rigid, sold it before he sold Custom Cycles to Cam, think it was running the 7 level software though, it was torment knowing it was up for grabs without the means.

I've never heard the term backpressure used favourably so much until I got a Harley and started looking into some info on performance stuff for them. If you look at the term literally it means a positive pressure towards the engine, or basically a restriction in the exhaust system.

That means positive pressure towards the exhaust gas trying to exit the port and also on the top of the pistons while on the exhaust stroke (not even considering intake charge on the overlap), doesn't it? And that helps power at lower RPM?

And if there's back pressure at low RPM, isn't it only going to get worse as the engine RPM increases?

I'm pretty sure Matt - dyno guys, is running winpep 7 still.

Dyno tuning would be fun for a while, then it would be a chore.
I applaud those who do it for a living ( and are good at it ) !
