As said, mate has just bought a new to him 2010 Dyna Superglide. It has the 2007 and up quiet/legal Screamin' Eagle mufflers.

He is after S&S or Khromewerks or Rush or maybe even original Screamin' Eagle 11's from 2002 to 2006.

    tapered /slash cut/Baloney cut/turnout

What have you got ? He's in Perth WA.

I believe the slip on mufflers are the same for Dynas from 2002 to 2017 (please correct me if I'm wrong !)

FOUND Early Screamin' Eagle tapered slip on mufflers. Not made since 2006

Part number "Screamin' Eagle Slip on Mufflers Harley Davidson Dyna Twin Cam 80068-00"

Coming used with heatshields and muffler clamps for $199 plus post. Look to be in good order.

That will give a pleasant burble/note and not be too loud. They will pass for stock on a looksee basis.

Got the "early" part numbers from US forums. Slash cut/slash down/turnout/ and Tapered "Torque"

Google search on the part numbers first, can be found on ebay USA but with a STUPID autopost cost by ebay.

Turn up a set in a wreckers in Dubbo NSW FFsake. I don't reckon they knew exactly what they were as they were from a dismantled 2015 Dyna ? They are not "perfect" but they are very good and with a set of "new bike take-off" heatshields they will be fine.
(I have heaps of those around).

I was surprised myself how quickly we found them. Also found SE 11 slashcuts in an Indy shop NOS.

It never rains but it pours FFsake.
Just on Friday I turned up an almost new set of S&S Dyna slashcuts from a very old mate's 2008 Dyna.
This had been converted to a trike in 2009/10 and these were stored away back in the original S&S box.
In the southern suburbs of Perth all those years in dry storage
Fitted right up today to the 2010 Superglide.
As noisy as all buggery but that was inside the garage...

I have come to realise that Dyna slip on mufflers are the same/very similar mounting system from 2000 to 2017.

That's the "Staggered shorty duals" like on this 2010 Superglide.

Hence why we found them fairly easily used. Such a long model/year run of fitment.

Softails are NOT the same all the way thru'. 2002 to 2006 were quite different in the mounting brackets from 2007 to 2017.

AND Softail Deuce/Fatboy were different from Nightrain/Standard/Softail Custom/Heritage.

    Softail Deluxe/Crossbones/Slim slightly different again.

Softail mufflers LOOK the same but well different rear mounting lugs/brackets.

I know because I had several of those variants over the years.

Dyna mighta run from 99 to 17 but I bet you can't find a set of S&S tapered turbo's to fit an if you did you would probably have to steal them to get them lol.

    For deffo !

The up to 2006 Screamin' Eagle tapered "Torque" mufflers are still in the mail from the east. ETA 21st apparently.

He will try those as well. Dyna Staggered shorty duals are the EASIEST slip ons to change by far.

I scored a set of S&S tapered turbos a couple of years ago for my 97 low rider, I am pretty sure they came off a 04 or 06 dyna, direct fit, ole mate sent me the mounting bar with the mufflers and it was exactly the same as the standard 97 bar.

Think 91 up will fit, not dead certain on that but have seen mufflers advertised 95 up and 91 to 2007 so they must be close.
