Red light on my Breakout

Hi all. I’ve got a red light showing on my 19 Breakout FXBRS. I did the diagnostic check and it revealed codes B2141, B2146 and B2168. I also popped up with a part number I need which is a BCM worth about $780. The techs from my local Harley dealer weren’t working today. My research reveals the problem is with the electrics but other than that it’s not telling me much. Is it safe to ride in the short term until I can book it in?  How did this happen?  I got some Burleigh bars put on recently from a non Harley dealer?  Is that what caused it?  Any replies would be appreciated. Cheers

Those codes are for your front indicators, which given you've done a bar job, I'd guess they're located near your hand controls.

I'd be revisiting your hand control wiring.

Thanks John. That makes sense. I adjusted my grips myself as they were offset when I got my bike back. That probably caused it. If I adjust them back maybe it’ll fix it. Thanks again.

If I just reset the codes and lose the red light it will be fine?  All
    My indicators work fine.

The usual drama with this sort of stuff is pinched wires under the switch blocks, generally if the light is on the code is active, not 100% on your model I'd have to look it up, you could try clearing them for sure, see if they go away but that's where I'd look mate.

Yeah thanks for that. Makes sense. I’ll give it a go. I adjusts them myself because the indicator buttons were a bit higher than usual when I got it back from getting the new bars fitted. I appreciate the help. Cheers.

No wuckas, I'd open them right up for a good squiz, check where the wires come out of the bars as well, doesn't take much with those skinny little wires.
