I purchased the quick detachable hardware and sissy bar for my 16 low rider s and just wanted to know do you need to relocate the tail lights. I bought the hardware off Amazon and doesn't say on the ad or come with instructions.

What breed is it? These are Cobra brand ones, both apparently fit your bike, neither say to move the turn signals, don't know what the HD one says, online catalogue might help you out there.

Its a ebay special looks like in the picture you can, but I ended up trying to mount it looks like I'll hafta buy new tail lights or relocate the old ones.

Is it a close thing? Like a couple of mil? I ask as the 16 slim had a cheat to fit the detachables without moving the indicators, I have the template in the shed, totally different bikes I know but maybe?

No the docking hardware I have uses the hole that the tail light bolts up to and wiring goes through. 

Just looked at the slim it has 2 bolts and the tail light that bolts to the fender and  mine does not its uses the the tail light bolt and just one bolt.
