More fuel than usual

Hi all, new to this forum stuff, i have a 2021 fxlrs stage 3 kit with s&s 475 cams with maximus tuner, bike has been dynoed a few times and was going great (good on fuel and plenty of power) until i did a trip up north a few months back and was stretching its legs, sat at WOT for 5-10 minutes and since then its using ~2lt extra fuel per fuel stop then it used to, my question is!
- could the oxygen sensors have change the ecu fuel mapping and has stored this thus using more?
- or could i have a faulty o2 sensor but no codes are being thrown and using more fuel?

G'day, short term fuel trims decay over key cycles however if something mechanical is behind it then the trims most definitely can drive the tune sideways, 02's can go out of whack without a code, not common but not unheard of either, spark plugs can cause issues, especially if you use octane boosters or the wrong plugs, faulty fuel injector, probably unlikely given the age of the bike but dirty fuel from a distant Roadhouse may come into play with them and the fuel filter, blocked air filter can cause drama's with the tune as well. Do you have the Maximus dongle or just a key?

Just a key for the tuner, i have since replaced spark plugs and cleaned air filter still with no change

That's a shame on the tuner as a data log might help you find the issue and being able to reflash the last calibration can at least tell you if the tune has shifted, is the tuning person local? They most likely would still have your last tune on file if they didn't give you a copy!

It seems so, dug this up from Richardson's in Tassie
Once the bike is tuned with Maximus, customer is provided with a USB key which has their tuning file saved. The motorcycle’s VIN # is assigned to the USB key but more tuning can be done on that motorcycle with no further purchase of a tuning licence is required.

So if i can find someone with a maximus dongle they can plug my key in and reflash bike to last tune ?

I'm not 100% if it's that simple or not, the shop most definitely can, there would be some security features that would have to be negotiated, a computer running the Maximus software plus your key, a dongle, cables and your bike, I have the Maximus software on my office computer as I was going to tune an M8 bagger for a friend but he sold it instead and I never got to play with it so no first hand experience sorry.

So i finally think i have sorted the fuel issue i was having, checked over the airfilter, sparkplugs and usual stuff. Booked it into the local workshop and they have put on there computor and said the injectors are buggered from running too high of duty cycle for too long and damaged them, so new bigger injectors have been put in and remapped to suite, hopefully solves issues, for all that commented thanks for you help
