Losing all electrics on a 98 fatboy.

    Hi, I have a 98 fatboy that is playing up. The ignition lights are okay for a while when I am starting it up. It normally takes a few goes to get it running but the lights go out and it won't crank over. 

    I thought it was the ignition switch but it wasn't. I don't really want to take it out for a ride while it's randomly dying on me. 

    Any common 98 fatboy problems in this area?

    Have you had the battery load tested?  If that’s ok  I’m not sure if a 98 do but early do thay have  circuit breakers under the dash / ignition switch plate between the tanks  You might have a dicky one  + clean your main earths and battery power connections  or a dicky  kill switch
