I need some help from you tech savvy people out there I’m planning a trip to Brisbane but for the life of me can’t get info on servos.
I’ve got a 2018 b/o and fitted a 5 gallon tank on it I’m going out today with a jerry can to see how far I can get with a tank of fuel.
    Cheers

There is a servo up the North Coast somewhere that sells particularly nice bacon and egg rolls. Can't remember exactly where it is but.
    Have a nice trip .

Which way you going, straight up the Newell Highway or around the coast? The Newell is nice Harley country, into top and just roll as the scenery slowly changes. Or again, up the Newell then divert up the New England, then across from Tenterfield to Lismore and the last bit up the coast if you want a more active route towards the end.  There is really no bad way, unless your riding a Ducati and get anxious if you've been in top gear for more than 10 minutes. Good fuel all the way at the major towns.

Tank milage is right hand dependant, google maps will sort top up distances, but man you won't run outa fuel on the east coast unless you are particularly special, have a blast, trips are gold.

If you use the Newell make sure you pack a spare set of kidneys as you will need them once you hit QLD. Love traveling the Newell but the QLD stretch is a joke. I've traveled dirt tracks that were in better condition. Being a major freight route, it should have been fixed years ago I guess no politicians live or travel along the route.

Well the Newell doesnt exist in Qld, stops at Gundi on the border. But a good set of shocks is always a good investment if you venture out of town or off the Hume Highway. My 3 bikes have 75mm, 100mm and 120mm of rear wheel travel respectively, guess which is more comfortable on rough bush highways? Good shocks with as much travel as you're prepared to accept the look of, much cheaper than new kidneys.
Stop and take a break once you start pissing blood.

I did that trip a few times when the Sporty had its original 8 litre tank. After a trip Sunshine Coast to Broken Hill and on to Adelaide I fitted a 10 litre King Sportster tank, luxury! Still, I got to buy fuel in a lot of out of the way places.
