A few here will remember me... anyway back in December 2021 I got cleaned up by a car and spent a night in The Alfred with bung shoulder and broken wrist. Had the shoulder fixed through surgery April 2022. My 2007 Street Bob was written off by insurance so I took the opportunity to buy a 2022 FXLRS in Sept 2022. Procrastinated a little as colour availability for non-tourers is fcu#ing crap. Went for the Vivid Black, but man do I miss my Pewter Denim tins.

Have not done much riding since taking delivery as I then went and damaged most of the muscles in my left leg as well as breaking my right thumb in a motorbike accident in the mountains in Laos. At least I wasn't thast bad and managed to ride 4.5 hours down Road 13N to Vang Vieng Hospital.  Couldn't get the thumb oportated on till I got back to Melbourne

A bit of an update.... got really pissed of at all the zink bolts and bronzed rims. Who the fuck does that on a black bike.

Anyway a few pics as I like the result. It was a little painstaking getting all the bolts together for powder coating. Those that could not be removed were carefully hand painted.

Probably next step is bars... looking at 1¾” Thick Roller Bar with 8″ Integrated Risers, Speedo Mount Roller Bar

Looks bloody great, bars will look good to, a tasteful transition away from the stock ones shall we say 😁
