Transmission dipstick

I'm looking for a transmission dipstick for my 2020 Ultra Limited.
Overall length is 95 mm and it has a 3/8" allen key head I didn't bother taking a photo of it. I think we have an idea what they look like.
    Part # is 37065-06a
I checked the trans oil today and noticed the threads were partially stripped, and even with light pressure it will not do up tight. The dipstick has been a pain in the arse since day 1. My local dealer says the part is on back order and so does the dealer at Gold Coast Harley.
I am going away on it in 3 weeks and would like to know it is done before I go.. I can get one from the US, but very expensive and slow to get here.
So if anyone has one laying around..... new or 2nd hand, I would be interested.
    Many thanks, Mick.

I would be having a good look (with a magnifying glass ) at the female thread in the case.
I am assuming that would be aluminium so that is probably damaged as well.
If you can find out what the thread is it might be worth buying a tap and running that in before you screw in the new dipstick.
A photo of the damaged dipstick would be interesting. Same with the case.

Helicoil kit may do the trick ? Macgyver fix thread tape.

Thanks fellas, I have had a look at the case and it seems OK. It's more the dipstick and yes I have done the McGyver trick. I will have a yarn to an engineering shop tomorrow and see if they can recommend a Loctite product that might help. If there is nothing much else that I can do, I have this amazing idea involving a small piece of say 30 x 6 mm pine (maybe some nice Australian Cedar) worked over with a chisel and held in place with a zip tie . That'll hold the bastard in until I can get a new one ! I don't think there is any air pressure to push it up on that side because the primary side sucks.

    Well picked up BB.
I reckon it is a menagerie dip stick.
You gotta be so careful these days.

No , the actual stick looks the same but has stripped threads.

Well screw that one in then and Bob's yer uncle !
PS.  If it feels tight with your fingers take it back out and tap the thread.
Thanks for the photo of the dipstick. Always wondered what they looked like.

    All fixed...... for now.
A couple of pics. One of the actual dipstick showing the damaged threads. What it doesn't show is that the threaded part has 2 flats about 10mm across . That's how they are made. After talking to a couple of parts blokes from different HD shops we all agreed that it is a stupid design. I always have to have 2 -4 goes to get the thread started by hand. The threads in the case look fine. Have one coming on back order for $36. Might take a week or 2 to get it. One of the parts boys told me I could get one very quickly ........... just stick a 3/8 allen key in my pocket and go for a walk til I see a similar bike. I declined !!
The other pic shows my "fix". An old chrome rod sits in the allen key hole of the dipstick and goes up to very classy aluminium bracket that is bolted through the rear heat deflector and cable tied so it can't fall out and the dipper can't lift up. For an old retired chippie, I am happy with it for now.

Good fix mate. One of a kind too.
No doubt you will have people asking what it is.
Tell them it's the catalytic converter for the transmission breather. All new bikes need to have em.

Coming in very late and after the horse has bolted but I'll chuck it in here anyway, when putting that kind of dipstick back in keep the dipstick as close to 90° to the hole as possible and turn the bugga slowly backwards until you feel it drop into the threads, then turn slowly to tighten, if it feels wrong stop and turn it backwards again until it drops twice, can be 90° out, they suck.

Good advice GM.  Old retired carpenters can be a bit gorrilla fisted. Theyre good with chainsaws and shit but when it comes to the technical stuff they struggle .

Maybe not, providing you are not sticking your dipstick into trans.
