How much do you think a 99 springer immaculate condition would be worth. Last evo

Lord knows.... Some folks love Springers and others think they looks like turds.  Its very subjective.

Well there’s a few for sale at around 23k and with older bikes the value is often determined more by originality than condition.
If it’s completely stock it might go for $25 as it’ll attract a wider audience including collectors.

I have been on the look out for a late 90's Evo softail springer for awhile now, there are a couple around, they are around the 24-25k price, but they have been on the market for some time now, I am collecting but I am not paying that sort of money unless it's showroom condition.

There was a nice looking 97 Badboy springer (if you like springers) on Harley Davidson for sale Australia face book group earlier today. Bloke was asking 25 grand though. (you may have seen it?)
I think you have just got to be patient and keep looking as much as possible. I got my 84 Shovel for a song a few years ago and had been on the lookout for a low mileage Evo for some time. 2 evo's popped up at once on local gumtree one day a few weeks ago, a Wideglide with just over 10 thousand ks that had only just over $10 grand on it, and a FXR with 30,000 ks on it that followed me home.

I did see that Bad Boy FC, but at 25 grand I'd want concourse condition, it's not that. Your right, patience is required, I spent 12 months looking for my 1997 low rider with 35,000km on it, but I stumbled across my 81 FXWG shovel at a bargain during covid, 10k,
I've got to many Dyna's at the moment, so looking for a Evo softail springer.

Gidday HD ... I have a Genuine 99 FXSTS ... Not in original condition ... Heavily modified ... Sth East Qld ... Have $ 46,000.00 thrown at this bike.

Before all the Crazies start saying you will never get that much for it, I of course realise that and will be asking $ 27,000.00 ...  Negotiable to sensible and respectful offers.

As others have said here, original condition may get you better offers but depending on what your needs are why not take advantage of a bike that some other idiot has already spent a shit load on ... I'm the Idiot of course.

There is a bucket load of things done to this bike far too many to list here but for an example ... Genuine 2008 Crossbones Springer front end ... 2010 19" front wheel ... 2010 Rear wheel ... 2006 swing arm so I could get a slightly wider rear wheel in, currently 180 width ... 2006 rear brakes and shockies ... 6 piston PM front calliper ... S & S Super Stock Heads ... Andrews EV Cam ... Mikuni carb ... Custom rear Guard.

And many many more things ... have dozens of pics when it was being built ... I call it a Bar Hopper / Custom Street bike ... used to ride it quite often when living down in the burbs but after moving out to the countryside I tend to ride my other Beast, a 2017 RGS.

Anyhow just a bit of food for thought ... Cheers from Tim.

This from a bloke whose second bike is a harley, updated every couple of years, and with a few dollars spent on Dealer mods.
Some here have a harley for a second bike, and a harley for a first bike, one or both of them maybe 20 years old with ridiculous amounts of time and money spent on them.
That is what passion is on this forum.

And springers are a bit special.

Tim just between you and i......my new harley was bought brand new by me in 2012 and still owned by me but currently loaned to a mate whos done it tough in Sydney for the last 6 months.  The bike now has close to 80k and other than a decat, mufflers tq cam and a power vision all self installed and tuned is relatively std. After 50+ yrs of riding bikes my passion remains regardless of the brands. Good luck with the sale.
