Good to hear your relatively unscathed mate. Hard to believe its a repairable write off....see plenty more with less damage being non repairable.
Well Friday the 13th was lucky and unlucky, I was out on the bike and made a rookie mistake, had a car in front weaving a bit and was watching him in case he came into my lane and unfortunately didn’t see the road straighten a bit and got caught in the gutter 😞 bikes a repairable write off so I’m taking the cash for now as it’s insured for 40k and I’ve done 40k in 20mths, for now I’m going to take 6 months and travel in the car and caravan and look at resurrecting the pan when I get back. I’m lucky to only have a cracked rib and some skin off.
Yes, apparently the wheel never touched or marked the frame , how I don’t know and apparently no paint fractures on the head stem however I told them I didn’t want it back so it will be written off.
If you can walk away from a crash then thats always a day to celebrate!
