    Yeah Bloo!, that is a bit of a tragedy.
    There at least is a sweet shop here in North Hobart where you can still get "Cobbers" which are about the same. Plus they still have that stupid shit from the 70's like "Teeth" and "Bananas", "freckles"," if you are a real weirdo and like that stuff.

    Hang on there, 'freckles', was, is my main go to when sugar hit needed. Don't mention Jaffa's, they might disappear too, like they did rolling down the aisle's many years ago.!

    Sinéad O'Connor:  dies aged 56
    The hand brake loved her an played her album on repeat constantly. 
    She did have a an amazing voice, she took the green dream option.

    Yes bd she was a very troubled and complex person.... great voice.

    She was subjected to physical and emotional abuse as a child by her mother, she ended up in a Dublin reformatory as a teenager and suffered further trauma there.
    She campaigned against child sexual abuse in the Catholic church years before it was publicly acknowledged, and trod on a lot of toes by doing so.
    A terrific voice and a successful singer, forever haunted by her childhood.

    Randy Meisner, bass guitarist and harmony vocals for the Eagles in their earlier years before fame got to him.
    Not my favourite band but when in the mood for smooth harmony.... or when riding home down Obi Obi on warm full moon nights crossing the bridges, coming back from a woman who's loved you wild.

    R.I.P. Robbie Robertson .. 80 years old ... not sure what got him in the end but with Sixto Rodriguez , 81  it leaves us with another couple of guys from the 60`s and 70`s gone but hopefully not forgotten.

    Robbie Robertson gone.... gotta be time to watch The Movie again, sing along to The Weight,  ...pulled into Nazareth  was feeling bout half past dead, just need a place where I can lay my head...
    Play his later stuff a lot too, songs like Hells half acre, and Somewhere down the crazy river, but his music is tightly linked to time and place, and the image of two choppers rolling through a western landscape.
