    I heard the "Trumby" song back in the 70's and remember it well. On a vinyl record at a remote homestead.
    Not sure what the actual album was but the song had more on it than that version. The song went on the explain about a poisoned water hole etc.
    Do you know that version Bloo?
    Reckon Slim was decades younger when he originally sung it than in that video.

    Funny how times change.
    There is a lyric in the song near the end that says, "His skin was black but his heart was white, and that's what matters most".
    Compared to the welcome to country stuff and respect for the "whatevers" that goes on before any game or ABC broadcast these days.
