Some of you guys are too wrapped up in your music. There is more to life....
Raquel Welch died a couple of weeks ago and didn't rate a mention here. One of the first women I remember from the big screen.

    G'day,
"Chaim Topol, a leading Israeli actor who charmed generations of movie- and theatre-watchers with his portrayal of Tevye, the long-suffering and charismatic milkman in Fiddler on the Roof, has died in Tel Aviv aged 87."

Wow! might get a bit more sympathy than when Clive Palmer dies....perhaps.

John Sattler....NRL hard man. In the 1970 Grand Final 10 minutes in Sattler was hit by Manly’s John Bucknall in a punch so vicious it shattered his jaw in three places. Despite the injury, Sattler played out the game and kept the injury hidden from his teammates as he led them to glory.

Uncle Doug Mulray radio legend. I met him several times and it was our bike shops GPZ 900 that he crashed inside the movie theater for the Australian release of the original Top Gun movie. Everyone was seated ready to go when Doug rode a brand new GPZ900 down the isle , grabbed a fist full of front brake at the screen end and dumped the bike. Minor damage to all concerned.
A very funny man and a true radio icon...."I'll cop you later"...

    Craig Breedlove dead at 86
Had not heard this name before but interesting life wanting to go fast and chasing records at Bonneville.

Maybe they are right. Speed does kill.............. eventually !
Wow, 600 MPH in 1965, that is fast. I kinda remember him from when I was a little tacker.

Craig Breedlove was among the greats but my hero was and remains Donald Campbell.  The Bluebird may have reached ‘only’ 403mph in 1964 but it was a real wheel driven car. I went to see it and mostly recall the noise and smell. Pretty impressive to a ten year old.

    Sorry for your loss, Bloo.
Right up there with Chaim Topol and Clive Palmer (when he kicks the bucket).
Don't know how the banana people will ever get over it.
