Yeah, friends or family or pet magpie are all good to have around at Christmas. Talked with my daughter in Vic, my young bloke drove a couple of hundred kilometres up in his 69 Lite Stout he loves, the dog pack swarmed round the table on the back verandah as we pigged on ham and mangoes, avos and lychees with a few beers for lunch. Just cleaned up a late breakfast of scrambled eggs fresh from our chooks bums laced with chunks of ham on a multigrain loaf straight out of the oven, fresh greens from the garden. The Pogues Christmas in New York loud on the music machine, about to be followed by Norman Fucking Rockwell, King parrots perched on the veranda rail wanting their lunch, life is good. Almost time for a beer. Hope you all had a good one, and are looking forward to a great new year. 

Be glad to see the end of 2022 

Not sure 2023 is going to be any improvement over 2022....interest rates tipped to keep going up, power going up, petrol going up.....i think Cher had it right when she sang "If i could turn back time" LOL 

Cannot imagine 2023 going to be much better. But as long as you and your family  have good  health not much matters
