Not interested in buying them SB10, but interested in a picture or two of how they fit/secure to the bike.
Just made a set of leather throw over bags for my old shovel and am interested to see options for how to attach them so they dont come off the bike when riding.

Hey bolt just goes through inside of bags which has a metal plate to support and bolts through fender struts factory holes. They are off the bike so I can take photo of holes in bag where bolt goes through and metal plate if u like

That's how I did it FC.
Takes a couple of minutes to undo the nuts to take them on and off

Streetbob10. It sounds like you are trying to sell your saddlebags? so it would be worth your while putting up a picture or two of them. Unless you are just wanting to give them away in which case I know a bloke who would take them.
BB, Interesting you have converted throw over type bags to bolt on ones. The very first individual saddle bag I owned was given to me by a non riding mate who found it on the roadside. It had a bracket on it similar to the one you made for your throw-over ones.
It is a really well made bag and I'd guess it was an original HD bag. I ended up making a matching one for the other side and using a set of "Easybrackets" for both bags which are a great way of locking your bags to the bike and being able to quickly remove them with a key. Also you do not need those other bits bolted to the fender bracket that stops the bags getting chewed up by the back wheel.
For my latest saddle-bags for the shovel, I borrowed a mates throw over ones that look pretty small but were a nice looking design on his bike and have used them for making a couple of cardboard templates to make a new set with a few design variations. Stoked with how they are looking, will post a few pics when finished. I'm not a tradie leather worker or anything but it is sometimes suprising what you can do if the motivation is there.
Obviously the lockable, waterproof, hard bags on the tourers are the ducks guts but not every one wants a tourer. Blah blah blah blarbedy blah, sorry for ranting. Too much red cordial

Hey mate I’m not really trying to sell them they have been sitting awhile just seeing if anyone is interested first before pictures. No point if no one’s interested. But I Understand your point of course trying to sell something with pictures helps. I agree. Cheers

Looking forward to some pics FC.
When I done mine it was a bit of a rush job and from memory the only hardware I had to buy was  the dome nuts. ( after I had skinned my knuckles a couple of times ) . I had everything else in the shed.
