I did a search and baffles are as bad as an oil thread😁
I have V&H staggered Big Shots.
Looking to get quiet baffles and Peter Stevens say the ones V& H say will fit wont fit??
    Same part number 21301
Is it just a stuff up in their advertising?

I've lost count of the amount of times I've been given a bum steer by the sales folk at Peter Stevens/HH.  I'd go by what the manufacturer says.  If you want to make sure, send V&H customer service an email.

I took in a part number recently for an OEM sissy bar, they told me it only fits Sportsters.  I knew in advance from a simple check of the parts catalogue, that it fit Dynas, Sportster and a whole bunch of other models.

    Yes
Best one was their advert stating M8 oil filters will fit Evos, 😁

Bought the ones confirmed by V n H site
Also confirmed the Harley site was wrong.
Took minutes to fit and just takes that crack off the exhaust note.
Decided to keep these Big Shots instead of paying a couple of K or $1600 for a 2 into 1, it aint a sports bike😁😁

    Good to hear (haha..)
I tried them in a set of V&H Big Shot Staggered that came on my 2008 CVO Springer when I got it in Texas in 2011.
"Too loud" was my thoughts at the time. Tried other sortsa baffles/ stainless steel wadding etc as well on the journey.
ALL of them blunted the performance noticeably.

Like yerself , $1500 (or whatever) to get another system wasn't going to happen so back in went the cheesegrater baffles.
Now 11 years on I'm both used to the V&H AND those cheesegraters are stuck for the duration I reckon.
"Cheesey bolts" locator bolts well rounded and would need drilling with the whole shebang off the bike....

There was a thread way back then a forum member had gone to great lengths and quite inventive with the same exhaust system I reckon the final baffles he made up were near 3 foot long !

I searched and read quite a few comments on other forums that they actually increased the torque a bit and dropped the top end or so they felt that way🤪
That doesn't bother me at all as I said it ain't a sports bike.
Happy with the result and cheaper😁😁
