    Hi,
New here, I have been trying to find a photo of what a standard height of a 1999 fxstc vs lowered 1999 Fxstc looks like.
I’m about to do some work on the front forks and I’m trying to see what it would look like if I lowered it vs left it stock height.
Has anyone lowered theirs and can shed some light on before vs after looks and feel/performance?

    Hi Masons
I have a 1998 fxstc but I don't have any pics standard. I went the opposite direction. I lowered mine in the rear end by 1 1/2".
Prior to that I fitted a fork brace to correct a bit of shimmy in the front end at higher speeds.
Not sure about the difference in fork length (WG is 65 mm longer for Fatbob forks), but putting shorter forks in would certainly give a more stable, better handling ride.
You would have a Softail standard rather than a Softail custom.
