Have installed Smart Siren II Security System on my 2015 Street Bob. Won't make a sound, have tried to turn the chirp on still nothing. Followed all the instructions. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you'll need a HD dealer to plug in to your bike to enable the siren

Thanks Mate, everything I've read, seen online it’s just plug and play.

I had an alarm fitted to my previous 2015 wideglide which was an American import that came without an alarm, I just remembered that the HD dealer had to change a control module which cost a few hundred also, this may be your case too

Did your bike already have a siren if it was moved without a fob present?

Na, it has the standard HD security without the siren, the below pic is just the plug and play.

That’s it mate, meant to be a five minute job, I have checked and re checked, everything’s got power, I’ve done the “on, off, on, off” etc to turn the chirp on still nothing??

I turned ignition on then took out main fuse , plugged in siren , turn ignition to off then put main fuse back in
All works , maybe being 2015 might have to be a dealer job !

Pretty sure if it didn't have a siren to start with then the dealer has to use the digital tech to switch something in the BCM.

Could be wrong, just think I read it somewhere on a USA forum once.

Could be right mate, all the vids on Youtube installing are all from USA. You'd think as i bought it from a HD dealer in QLD they might have said something?

Hi, did you change your TSSM as well? I installed the security on an 07 fatboy and needed to change the tssm add the siren then go through a process of ignition on Sercuity light on and off, ignition off to program the module to ecu.. found this all on google how to do it…changes a little per year model of bike.

my 08 Fatboy never had a siren and all i did was get a small piezo siren from Jaycar @ $15 and connected the two wires from it to the plug where the smart siren plugs in, I then zip tied it in place in and it works fine.  its bloody loud
