Registering an Imported Evo

Hello,
I recently imported an Evo Big Twin Custom Chopper through an importer. The bike was titled as 2019 (not sure why) so was unable to get import approval. Subsequently it was stripped down and rebuilt here in Aus. Does anyone know the process of getting it registered without import approval? I've come across dead ends with RTA and infrastructure NSW saying I need import approval.
Can I just get a compliance plate and a blue slip or will I need some sort of import approval?
Thanks in advance
Nick

Sorry, no idea tbh. Worst case is that you may need to buy an AU certified frame and use that as the base.

Not sure how you'd go about 'compliancing' it without the actual import approval.
Really not sure of what the legitimate way to go about it would be. If legality doesnt phase you, the options open up haha.

The 2019 title is probably the frame manufacture date, only my guess, import approval required and engineer's cert for the frame also, after strip down and rebuild work was done.
Surprised who ever imported the bike on your behalf can't join some of the dots for you. Good luck Nick, if you get it sorted, please share.
