I just got back from the Pilbara, went up for the 50th anniversary of Paraburdoo as I worked up there in the 80’s and 90’s. Had a good run up and stayed at Northampton and chela plains just out of para, a couple of nights at para then onto wean gorge, dales gorge and fern pool, Danny Hayes eat ya heart out lol, corrugated rough as dirt road but we got there and back only about 20k. Lunch at the eco village and onto Newman, Newman to mount magnet and then home.

Awesome Stropp, spent many days also above the 26th myself. Great post and thanks for share of the pic's. Millstream was my fav spot in the 80s.

Yep mill stream was a great place to stop when heading to the coast on the access road until it was handed back and the tavern was closed, many a coldy had there 🍻
