Cut and paste it. Highlight the quote by going to the end of the quote with your mouse, left click the mouse and hold your finger on the mouse, drag the curser over the part you want to insert, remove your finger from the mouse and that part should be highlighted.
Hold down CTRL and the letter C together on keyboard. To paste press CTRL and the letter V ....

The format we have is what we have, it is unlikely to change.
It is easy to follow multiple quotes on a pc, but a nightmare on a phone, so , sometimes a bit difficult to follow or get involved when away from the desk, so the simpler, the better.

I always wanted to know how to do the cut and paste thing. First time Ive ever done it.
Highlight the sentence and hit CTRL and c together. Hit CTRL and v together .
You learn something new every day ! Probably forget how to do it tomorrow but.

How on earth do you add multiple quotes, quotes from different responders, AND how do you edit quoted inserts?
Sorry about that, just practicing my new computer skills.
Fuck, I am good.

Even easier.
Just highlight the sentence, right click on your mouse and choose copy from the menu that appears.
Then place your curser where you want to past the quote , right click your mouse again and choose paste from the menu.
Control and c is so 80s !!

You left out the bit about highlighting the text by dragging the mouse with the left button, but that is the way I go for cut, copy, paste.

How on earth do you add multiple quotes, quotes from different responders, AND how do you edit quoted inserts? For example, if person A has quoted me in their response - how do I quote that person without including what they quoted from me? Does that make sense?
I thought I would try binnsy"s method and that worked great.
Sorry for hijacking the thread wombat. Has anybody answered your question?
