    Hi Team,
A new member here and a new Harley owner. A rider of 50 years and have just stepped off a 2018 Ural Ranger outfit . Wanted some thing with more highway legs hence the Triglide. New with only 3ks on in March this year, now 5 500ks. A noise which was bought to dealers attention at first service now getting more noticeble. A rattle/knock between 2,000 and 2,300 rpm  at light throttle, worse as it heats up. I have seen this mentioned in other places so I thought I would join and bring it up here and ask the brains trust. If someone gets on this thread I will expand the issue. Too much typing just now. Oh! And why am I worried about the noise? It's louder than the Ural and that's saying something. Thanks.

Thanks for replying. At first service everything I wanted then to fix I put in writing.  Will be interesting to see what they will put in writing.
Regards loose mufflers etc. I have tightened everything I can put my hands on.
If it was the old Ural it would be mostly tappets but hydraulic lifters should see to that. It is quite  a loud noise but it can be ridden around.    But for example 30 k zone in Newcastle Foreshore, 1st gear too low 3rd gear lugging it?  2nd gear right on the knocking zone. With respect to the dealer, if they rode it hard they may not hear it.  So will keep riding but it worries me
PS I'm in Newcastle.  Would love someone else with a trike to ride mine. Don't really want to ride theirs,  just another set of ears.  Can anyone help??

Get the dealer to go pillion while you ride and point it out when  it happens.

Yes Steamer, good idea. I will take them for a ride rather than the other way around. Sorry, an anti dealer joke. Haha.
