well bugger me there seems to be a shit load of kiwi's everywhere in oz, I live in a little town north of Hamilton called Taupiri, I spent a year in the Gold coast back in the late 90's in a place in the hills amongst the trees called Tallebudgera  (not far from Burly) where nearly everyone I met was a bloody kiwi, yeap HD dealer(Road & Sport) still on Te Rapa Straight(road), I love whitebait fitters, We go fishing up the Coromandel quite regularly with plenty of snapper in and around the massive mussel farms
