Hi, as my 1994 fatty got written off, I bought. a 1997 heritage softail while my son tries to fix  the fatty. My question is  does the 1997 softail have the inna inner cam bearing  ,or hopefully the Torrington,  seems they went back and forth over the evo years, thanks ,Rick

Rick unless it's been changed it would be a 9058A which is a caged needle bearing, Koyo B-138 is a full roller replacement that's easy to get, don't think Torrington is around anymore!

I just sold a 97 Evo motor from a Softy that spun an inner cam bearing but was perfect otherwise. I'd say they still have issues.

    It's $10, it's a replace job no matter what.
