Fitted a K&N air filter to my 21 Heritage Classic 107. Made a noticeable difference. Only other mod is Screamin Eagle slip ons. Goes great.

Now put in a real tuner/ecu replacement and the bike will scream!

Heres 3" of lift as an experiment.  The new sections are bloody solid.  Still recon 4" to 5" might be the long term goal but its good to see what it looks like without breaking the bank.

Regod and plated my recently finished FXR...wasn't without dramas from the Government but they got there in the end.

Apparently chassis numbers and VIN numbers are very separate things and it really matters where the mechanic writes it down on the paper 😂

Milestone day today as I got the front end finished.  Legend cartridges in the front forks, Killer Custom lower fork cover and fender installed after getting the fender back from paint.  This she is coming along nicely now.

Bikes looking awesome well done, I just ordered a Memphis shade road warrior fairing with a 11" dark smoke screen for my soon to arrive FXLRS, I just need the flipping bike to arrive now, the ship with my bike on is waiting for a berth at the highly congested Ports of Auckland, I think I've now spent around 5k on accessories

Hey the ACCAS get ya every time.
But rather spend that on motorcycle than on Hookers.. Aye. Though, nothing wrong with both, just saying..
Memphis are good.had one or two, they work.  nice ride bloke.

Had my primary adjuster done at 63,000kms.
Now at 123,000 I decided to do it myself this time.
Sorta makes the stories about how shit the MoCo adjusters are, are wrong. Sorry I pulled it apart, it had plenty of life left.

Took the fxdx to the Dyno to see what it's doing.98 cube,s&s 570 cams, mikuni 42 and some headwork.Runs great but wondering why it flattens off at just over 5k.pipe maybe?

What compression are you running crowster? I'm running a similar setup, sans 2 cubes haha.

    I'd love to hit 100/100.

As for the sheet, maybe it's the cams? It seems to hit it and hold it rather then keep building like the 585s

I'm running at 10.25 and I take it to 6 k every now and again and the engine feels great.very happy with it but I've seen quite a few builds with 570 cams and they keep the upward curve til 6k.ive got good heads so thinking pipes or the 42 mikuni but just guessing.the numbers are higher that expected just thought it would go to 6.anyway very happy with it.goes well

Cheers, thanks for that. Im running 10.5 (static) with those same cams but stock 06+ heads, so not sure where it would end up.

I doubt the HSR42 would be a limiting factor. Im sure I've said it before, but if you ever think of selling that bike, PM me please haha

Not sure why it would flatten off after 5k but the small dip at 2.5k would be due to the pipe. If you cant feel it though, then i ignore it.

The problem with the auto adjusters was not so much the shoe. There have been a few revisions. The earlier ones were not strong enough and some deformed under load, and then the teeth design was changed to prevent overtightening of the chain which loaded the bearings.
