Wideglider raises a valid scenario, this happened to me as well, the lever appeared to be moving freely but it was not although I think the pooch pounders issue is in his caliper, tear down, clean up and new seals will sort his Queensland hating hide.

That's a bit hard on him mate, gotta say that the one time I actually met PB rather than give him a wave as he rode the other way or chased him or led him up a mountain road, the morning I said fuck getting to work on time after a brisk ride up a mountain and pulled over at a cafe and had a yarn with him, he didn't try and hit on me at all. Maybe he just didn't fancy me, I am a bit of an ugly old bastard.

My previous 2015 Wideglide did this too, the problem was the rear brake lever being a little seized in the bush not releasing properly and holding the brake on slightly, the solution remove brake lever and clean it up with a little sanding or wire brush lube with anti-seize (or grease), I'm not saying this is your problem but it may be
