GM, I was in the same boat, hadn't worn a full face in decades, I bought one of those flip face helmuts off Loftybob a few years back, wore it once and sold it, I didn't like the loss of the wide vision you get from a open face. But I wanted something lighter and a bit of wind protection so I could hear the music from the Cardo bluetooth, I ended up getting a Bell Carbon open face and put one of those clip on tinted visors on it, the helmut weighs less than 2kg's and the visor cuts the wind noise down so I can listen to tunes on the longer rides. Happy days.

Well helmets already delivered... ordered Monday, at the door on Friday morning from Netherlands. FEDEX is pretty quick.

My original Speedo was getting hard for me to read the digital bit, combination of my slowly decaying eyesight and how the glass goes as it ages, anyway I've always wanted one of these since I got my first Harley and custom chrome catalogue in 96, so I bit the rather large bullet an got one to suit the slim, not everyone's cuppa but I love it, heaps of features and an app you can use via Bluetooth to speed up customising the colours etc plus it has diagnostics, pretty flash, yes the bike is filthy, yes I should wash it.

By the way , usually fading LCD displays is caused by the polarising filter being damaged by sunlight . 

Glasses would no doubt help but I'm still resisting, it's very xf falcon-ish....but I like it haha

Thats good chit!  They also make an awesome Radiator fluid for the water jacket bikes.

I got it in the tranny, no complaints
