Went out thru Buckby Road to Imbal then Kandanga Creek rd, Amamoor Creek , Pie Creek , Kin Kin , Ringtail Creek then home. Oil and filter change , service and faults reminders etc reset and two new tires. Getting ready for the next gig starting on 9th March.

The glass on the speedo on my bike is getting a bit fucked up. I have rubbed it with my sleeve a few times but its still hard to see when the sun shines on it. Pretty sure its not the original glass cos the bike was imported and the speedo was changed.
Is there anything you can use to clear the glass?

Oddly enough, saliva is as good as anything. Not talking about hoicking up great green goolies onto it, just the clear stuff. The enzymes in the saliva start to digest oils and fats on the glass surface. Works well for rear view mirrors too. Learned this when a photocopier tech for Canon in the late 70's. Not regarded as a good look in public these days, but fuckem.

i had a doggie over my Sporty 883 Twinsport racer before her first race at Phillip Island ,i left the stain on the front mudguard ,when i got back my machinist scratched his finger in the dried spoof and ask if this is seagull shit from Phillip is `,i didnt have the heart to tell him at the time as he was a fair bit older than me ,but he was a Harley rider himself and thought he maybe would understand ,butt i just couldn't cum out with it ,true story , and the bike ran fine no worries ,cheers

One day when out near Imbil you should try Bella Ck road up to the top of the range near Kingaham. You might prefer to take the GS, although my Sporty's been up and down it a few times, and the Vic bagger once. A Streetview cars been along there so you can get a preview.
Google maps is now suppressing the old name of Mt Buggery Rd, but the information centre at Jimna has a display photo of the old official road sign.

Yes there is something you can do, I know I have heard of a fix but its not coming to me.
Yes spit in the goggles before a race works, spit in snorkelling goggles works also, and old motoX trick was to spray the Preen you use when ironing cloths worked also.
Give me time BB I'll be back with a fix for your speedo
