I sent an old evo on a pallet to QLD, received a set of prototype drop trees to run an inverted front end, and scored a set of SS cases. Not a bad day so far.

    G'day,
I started it, decided to put the battery charger on tomorrow. When I get back from the ParkRun. Nothing like a 5km walk early in the morning when the temperature is hovering around 4 or 5 degrees.

STILLLLLLLL fabbing up my upswept fishtails.  I promise every weekend to work on them but its just cold its hard to find motivation.  In the meantime I pickup a 2kw used off-grid system for my shed today so perhaps that will motivate me to do something.

It rides great but I'm getting a bit of buffering at the very top of my helmet at speed.this is an 11 inch screen and is a tad too low.I now have a 13 inch on the way.hopefully that sorts it

Does it have a flick up around top edge,  as lower screen with this will stop it, Windcheater i think is main brand that now HD copied

    G'day,
didn't go walking, too cold; 4 C, stayed in bed. Did charge the battery, starts when I look at the switch. For those who like old English radio comedies, https://pumpkinfm.com/,
    they also have old movies.

Got the Old Road Glide . Screen was too shot, spesh for my shorter wife, on back. Purchased a Kuryakin higher screen with the little flicky fuck off air lip. Works a treat for me but passengers don't get blasted, thats my job. Anyway bought , Memphis screen for Harley years ago, sold it unused to a dude on ere, wondered if they worked ok, did  look good. Attatch - detattch wind protection is good.

And I totally agree, that is some serious looking shit, does it work as it looks? Do you need to do a course to finely tune? lol.

Theyre made by GeezerEngineering, designed to take GSXR forks but I picked up these Yamaha KYB forks for next to nothing and will make em work. Not sure what I'll use em on just yet!

As for the suspension tuning and settings, welcome to 2000's technology haha

Shame the Harley forks are still average, including their inverted one.

Looks nice,  but may be a hinderence if riding at night,  being that dark. Mine is  a HD screen and what they call lightly tinted. Easy to see through at night,
Can i ask why you did not go with a HD screen.

Ok, thats a bummer.  Have seen a few on facebook etc   the Fat Boy &, Heritage ,  should fit as all have same mount, . They definately are handy, especially in shitty weather,

Looks like the same type I use on the Sporty for Wet/Winter riding.  The mounts are a bloody PITA until you get into the groove of mounting and removing the fairing and then its okay (Its only when you remove and re-install the fork clamps that your back to square 1 which sucks).

I liked to slide my unit up and down the forks until I found a good spot that reduced buffeting but still gave good protection.  As an FYI use a really good anti rain product on the front so that water beads and rolls straight off rather then rivers up and into the helmet.  Any good car hydrophobic spray polish thingy works fine.
