Ev13 is a bit mild.... EV3 might suit.

Good luck wombat and will be nice to treat the old girl.

You’re obviously spending a bit of money but if it was me and I was that far in, I’d increase compression (and change cam) for a noticeable performance increase that won’t break the bank or cause reliability issues. Depending on mileage and piston ring seal, either have a machine shop shave the heads a bit or install new pistons with a dome. Lots of evo motors made to run really well with a bump in compression. If doing piston change, it’s a good opportunity to address the base gasket oil weep too unless you’re one of the few not to have it?

Sounds like the perfect plan then and the cv carb works very well. Enjoy it mate and good luck

Cv is a good carb and you don’t need to fix or replace what isn’t broken. Those other carbs would only be worth a look if your carb was stuffed or if you needed something bigger which you don’t. Some jetting changes to your cv carb will have it running well with your changes

Looks good mate. S&S tear drop is a classic. How does she sound now and do the quiet baffles do their job ok?

Be good to see some before and after pics

Those new pipes suit the bike very well!

I would also suggest checking that the main jet is the right size with a held wfo run in top gear and a plug check, enlarging the vacuum bleed hole through the slide slightly, and perhaps shimming the needle up slightly. Depends if those pipes flow better than stock mufflers, which with quiet baffles in straight pipes they may not.
The photos look great, a nice Evo.

Nice even idle, stock ignition by your list, nice mildly improved cam. Should be a great every day useable bike.

I'm the wrong person to talk to about ignition, I scrapped the stock electronic ignition after it failed and put points in. Call me a Luddite.
You're on the right track with your development process I reckon, low to midrange torque is the most useable improvement for most people, it improves the riding experience rather than the boasting experience.
Now if you had a stripped FXR with a Sportster tank and took it to the drag strip (whether legal or after midnight street ones) mid to top end improvement might make sense.
