Had a couple friends go down this route. None were successful long term. The gloves are bulky, need to be charged constantly or hardwired into jacket or bike and frequently broke down.
Look at Oxford Heated grips. Peter Stevens have them as aftermarket for Harleys and every other brand.
Harley themselves have an integrated version with external wiring.
If you have a post 2014? Street Glide, Road Glide, Ultra Glide, (with fly by wire throttle) you can wire them up within the handlebars.
Worth Checking out to see if other models with the FBW can be fitted with them
When I was looking at upgrading to heated grips on my 2014 UG, it was more expensive so I bought a later model UG with them already fitted. I got an incredible deal at the time.

I bought venture heated gloves from Zarkie. They plug into the heated jacket liner I also bought. If it’s cold enough to wear heated gloves then it’s cold enough for the jacket liner. The jacket liner plugs into a connection I have running out of the battery like a battery tender cable. Very neat and easy to use. Gloves and jackets have buttons to press to change between off and low - med - high heat settings

I reckon heated gloves keep the hands warmer than heated grips. Grips don’t keep all of your hands warm obviously

I’m sure all decent brands of heated gear are similar so don’t know if the stuff I got is better or worse than others. But I’ve ridden in cold icy winds all day and kept warm and comfortable whereas usually I’d be freezing, miserable and unsafe with numb hands and fingers. And no multiple, bulky layers which makes the jacket liner really practical

Goldfield47, thanks for asking the question, as I too are in Goldfields and it gets friggin cold sometimes.
Something I've  pondered for years is grips or gloves? Never used either product, but reckon might go with Fatbats line, the gloves, charging off bikes system.

    Part of Steelo's  reply quoted:

So Steeelo you upgraded ya UG to a later model UG that already had heated grips installed?
Thats a brilliant, bloody good idea, justification to upgrading to a later model bike to my wifey.
The bloody saftey angle, withupgraded bike having heated grips, of course.. Can't argue about safety- its a non-negotiable. *-_-*

I second Zarkie mentioned above, I purchased their heated glove liners last season and they are great. A lot warmer than heated grips and not bulky.

I put on Kuryakyn heated grips. Did it myself so must be easy. I had kuryakyn grips anyway so now they’re heated. Tried my mates heated gloves. Too heavy for me.
