Facebook logins no longer supported, convert your account.

    This site no longer supports Facebook logins.

    For those that have registered on the site using Facebook, follow the steps below to set a local password on your account:

    1) Click the forgot password link here: "Forgot Password".
    2) Enter the email address registered against your account.
    3) An email will be sent to you, with a link to allow a local password to be created.
    4) In future, login using the HD Forums local account option with the new password.  You will need to use the same username for example FBUser411.

    If you don't have an email registered against your account, you'll need to re-register with a local account.

    This inconvenience was cause by Facebook/Meta wanting access to the site, to approve it for their logins.  We refused.

    Hi boss. Part from a few swear words, semi nude pics, inappropriate jokes and robust banter, there’s a lot of good stuff on here to recommend us.  Almost all of it is available to the guest visitor now. Letting fb have a look may help increase traffic and ad revenue for the site. 
    I guess the worst case is they say we aren’t good enough for them. It appears many have enjoyed the fb login option.

    Notice that you never fessed up to the boss for being the agitator for " a few swear words, semi nude pics, inappropriate jokes and robust banter, " oh and should include sticky buns! Keep up the good work Steelo

    The new members who have joined up with a face book number or a gg number have made this site  more impersonal than it used to be.
    Nobody can relate to  or remember a number.  People  can relate to bloodog and  Far Canal and steelo and fatbat etc .

    Comments like that will get you removed beagle, and then you will have to come back with a facebook number or a gg number  😊
