Need a front and rear tyre for a 2012 RK. Best options prices etc. The ones on there are oem whitewalls with the harley name! I expect both these add a substantial premium. It is jumping off bitumen cracks and raised country roads patches she also wamders in sweepers.. I am more than happy to remove front and rear tyres. Best case scenario reasonable handling and life.

    Nothing wrong with those M
BIL has them on his 09 Heritage. Rides and handles a treat. If you can get them, get them.
If you can't /won't do that, then, it's a shame but ATM you practically have to take what you can get. There's "a shortage" of stock according to dealers and indy's. Talk to them. Tyres are like oils, cams, colours, models and football codes and teams on this forum. EVERYONE has a diff opinion.

I’ve been using Bridgestone battle cruise and been very happy with them.

Agree with Stropp (happens occasionally) two years on these now, I will go there again, good balance of all the key points, wet dry handling braking grip and wear rate, not the flashest looker or latest good thing but a solid tyre.

Any one found a shop selling Bates Baja tyres in the 130 90 B 16 or 5×16 sizes?
The big importers and distributors haven't heard of them, but maybe an indie shop in Townsville or Cairns, or somewhere Harley riders will be riding on the dirt....
The mob that make them are sponsors of the el Diablo run, and Lowbrow distribute them in the US.

Hey Steve are you firm on those exact tyre as there's plenty of more readily available options as i am sure your aware. The other option is to bring them in direct.

Not really committed, but good options in 16" seem limited.
No problem on late model stuff with 17" wheels.
I was running a replica Avon SM Mk 11 for the few days I spent on Fraser Island in the late 90s, pressure dropped to 22 psi. It was OK, but not good.
The Bates Baja look pretty much like the old Goodyear Grasshoppers.
