strange systems, if you take the plugs out to see if they have spark, the system don't see "iron" (plugs) in the cylinders, it will not give any spark, while the plugs are out, there will be no air flow so you wont get fuel either, first suggestion, get a new (correct) set of plugs,

second suggestion, lift your tank off and pull apart the 21 pin connection and clean it, just seperating it and pushing it back together might be enough to get connection back, this could have been part of your security issue prior and not starting now

GM removed right switch , cleaned/sprayed electrical contact shit, reinstalled-all good with nothing apparent.
Have original dog eared genuine manual with those electrical diagrams that do go around in circles, will click on link ya sent me shortly, thanks for that.
Soapy have tank off and in process of dismantling(dismembering) slowly in order to scratch off dodgey component list.Staring at the easiest first.Been inspecting and spraying electrical contact cleaner on every connection I find, can't hurt.
Yep, sequence of events- alarm going off about 4 times one after each sequence until I found one of the many 2032 batteries stashed around the place. That was the longest have ever had alarm going off.
Equipment not working with ignition on and ready to run. Brake lights/Blinkers/Security siren-flash/Fuel pump/
    Should state lights/horn work.
    Checked codes, got
    P - none
    5  -33223-11
    sp -none
    t    -67281-08 and 67459-04c
    b   -c1095 c1216
    end
buggered if can work out the codeing menu, as they don't align with information/key- legend  have on
I'll keep at it. thanks for steering.
Oh yeah the blinkers don't operate at all so couldn't load pin.

I fit one of these to my bikes. Can get you home sometimes when having electrical problems. Will generally start bike when you can get ignition light. Being able to start may re-set something.

At this stage mate, I'd be replacing your battery. Think you said it was at least 7yrs old. Check all your earth connections on the frame and battery also.
Not totally sure but think those numbers are just part numbers for ecu and bcm.

Glad you brought that wg. have been looking for that dam pesky 9volt battery for a while, not really hard but every nowand then, but can't it. I have checked it a  coupla years ago but can't remember where it's located? Couldn't even track down using manual. thanks for reminding me.
The issue, is linked in with alarm, brake lights, blinkers.igmition, security, - there must be a link with these but have not found it yet.

    good morning,
another random thought. The bike is in neutral, isn't it ? :)

p.s. I only asked because it happened to me, at the servo.
Switch on, press the right buttons, nothing. Repeat. Nothing. Try to look like I know what I am doing, nothing. Pull in the clutch, slap face and away we go, slighty red faced.

Replaced 9 volt rechargeable battery $19.95 from Jacar
Replaced 12 volt battery $298.10 (wats with the 10cents)
still no joy. determined to start testing components.
Just to keep anyone in the loop if happens to you, and your a 'do it kinda guy'.
Holding off on HD mechanics, they are good but I am poor and like doing my own shit.

Mick, probably a stupid question,  but feeling for ya mate, you've had the fob with a new battery in it on you when trying to start it? maybe you accidentally put it in transport mode when the alarm was going off?
Can you clear the codes you had now after replacing both batteries?

Doc, no, not a stupid question, have had fob close and far, from bike when codes brought up with old battery and new battery, still no change. This is certainly making me more atuned (pun not intended as not in pun mood) to my motorcycles workings.
Thanks mate, will try  to confirm is not in transport mode in morn. Can't bring up security side of things at all, not even pin. Am looking up how to check relays now.

Mick, try giving all the fuses, especially the large P&A fuse a wiggle with the ignition on and your fob nearby. Give all the connections a wiggle also.
The P&A fuse connections have caused dramas on newer bikes.

    Orright, still no joy.
I did find an issue that you highlighted postie, about fuse looking good but it was unserviceable. continuity meter on all fuses and one that looked good, was faulty as you described, learnt something there. Anyway I'll keep plodding along and nail this prick.
Having you blokes helping has been great, and much appreciated, but, I will either try and change this out of coming up or delete or something as thought hey 'some people don't want to read a mini series on my non starter.' cheers and thanks.
