Stage 1 2017 Sportster | Tune to Different States?

    Hi All,

Trying to cut through some BS from a few different sources.
I bought a bike from QLD - Stage 1 Sportster with SE tuner.
Will the tune be different between states?

I get how altitude obviously affects it but the change from QLD to NSW seems far fetched.

    Thanks in advance.

What if it was tuned at high or low tide in Qld? Would that make a difference?

Only if it was insured by Club Marine perhaps....

It'll be fine mate, most likely just a stage one flash anyway.

the real answer is if it was tuned in one state, and then a tour of the country, there is no need to re-tune as you go, have a good ride

If you want to know what cal is in the bike, download the software from the net, hook up the VCI to bike and computer, open the program, turn the bike on but don't start it, download the calibration that is stored in the VCI, find the same calibration in the Cal bank, open both cals and compare them to see if any tuning was done or not, I'd bet not, if none of the above makes any sense then don't do it :)

Finding the last update of Screamin' Eagle Supertuner Pro software may be difficult now.

No longer "supported" by HD. I do believe it can be found tho'.

Your Stage 1 tune will be the same as the world wide version most likely.

Chance of a Sportster being "Dyno tuned" is rare I would have thought, it's rare enough on the Big Twins.
