Non expert Revo A review.

So finally got to test the new Revo As on the SGS today.  They were 13 inch models so an inch over stock.  Set the sag to drop an inch as recommended by the Revo dudes and had the rebound set at 2.  I'm only a little guy and was only one up.  Set off down the Great Ocean Road this morning.  Now there is a bump/hollow a couple of hundred metres up from my place that normally bounces my arse off the seat at 60kmh.  Was waiting for it and wow where did that bump go !!! *looks back to see if the council had fixed it* Nope its still there!!
Anyway off the Fairhaven I go, and I must say the difference these shocks made was amazing.  I'm no Marc Marquez on a motorcycle but the handling was completely different.  No bouncing off line in corners and no sending my arse vertical after hitting a decent bump. I reckon the chicken strips are somewhat narrower now as a result as well.  I stopped at Fairhaven and after an unlucky attempt to buy a Steelo sticky bun, I wound the rebound back to one.  Even better comfort wise but maybe a little soft so will probably go back to two.
I am super impressed with these shocks and no doubt they will improve over time once they settle a bit.
As far as fitting them, it took me about 45 minutes from pulling old ones off to fitting new.
Will look at doing the front as well once I work out what to put in there.
I'm no expert as the title says, but my opinion of these shocks is they are a massive improvement over stock and very happy with my purchase.

Nice rundown Binnsy....its amazing what better pair of shocks can do. I still believe the std shocks are just there to stop the rear guard touching the tyre!

Not a big pic taker steelo, but will take a pic of them on the bike tomorrow and post.  I didn't take any pics of the ride either.   Too lazy.

Stop your ass from touching the seat by the sound of it.

Well firstly, that's a right handed acoustic in the corner, all mine are left.  You probably should have something under that vase in case the water drips onto the book its sitting on.....
The parquetry table and the pine flooring pattern sort of confuse the eye!! Not on trend, Shaynna Blaze would crucify you..
Other than that, you got me ???

    Great Review Binnsy ,

My 20 cents worth , Definitely get the fronts done .. Legend Cartridges for the front .. bit more involved to change as compared to the rears but will no doubt see an even better handling ride .

Incredible how bad the stock ones are for the price we pay for these machines .. that`s why the aftermarket scene loves us Harley riders more than most other brands , they know we are going to change out the shitty stuff and grab the good stuff .

Just have to make sure you do your research before buying as there is also some pretty shitty aftermarket stuff as well .. Happy riding .

Well the picture has got SFA to do with shocks for one, so it is out of place.
Also, what is the object behind the coffee table and to the left of the guitar?, looks a bit dubious to me.

    Thanks mate.
Your not the first to recommend Legend for the front.  They are top of the list at the moment.  Don't think I will tackle fitting the front myself though.  Too much shit to pull apart and put back wrong !

    G'day,
I still have one of those rhino after shave bottles. It was given to me when I had a beard, which I still have. Never used it, still sitting in the bathroom cabinet.

    Nice detective work there flstc08.
The table looks pretty normal but the chair was obviously designed with a pencil in one hand and a crack pipe in the other.
