    it's a given
1: there is a bounty already out on him
2: he is being charged with war crimes
either way, he has nothing to lose, he will be dead either way

That's the scary thing about Putin. He's finished one way or the other so may decided to take everybody with him and push that big red button

I was a bit surprised at how little mention the guy has got on this forum while he steadily murders people and ruins a country.

I don't reckon any of the above is a given.

FC am sure that many on this forum have thoughts on the situation in the Ukraine with the senseless killing and a madman at the wheel of Russia. Putin is a meglamaniac who beleives that it's his divine role to unite all of the old boys countries once again. Like USSR of old, the sick fuck.My beleif is the situation is indeed dire and going to get much worse than any of us could even imagine. Could this be the beginning of the end? The whole fucken invasion and killing of Ukrainians shows one sick fuck running Russia.
believe the situation causing $2.20 a litre for fuel, is nothing compared to what is happening and what well may happen. I wouldn't be booking a European summer holiday anywhere North. So many senseless deaths and flow ons from the unwarranted  Russian Invasion of Ukraine.

This is a very hard situation for the rest of the world to stand by and watch, I wonder how long it is before another country takes military action to help our Ukrainian brothers (and sisters), Biden seems very week too me, I don't like Trump but I'm sure this wouldn't of happened on his watch (he was Putin's mate i think), i feel so sorry for the citizens of Ukraine, this is an attack on everyone's freedom

Unfortunately the only plausible solution for this is for Ukraine to agree to Putin's demands.
They will probably loose their disputed territory but retain sovereignty (for what it's worth).

NATO moved too slowly in the intial period.
I'm also annoyed that this has become a US problem, this is Europe problem that should have been sorted by Europe.
Is he smarter than everyone else or is it he just doesnt care?

The only way Putin will relinquish control is throguh people power.
He knows this and that's why he is so harsh in his crackdowns.
    Rule by terror.

    But what would I know?

You maybe right in regards to losing the disputed territory to retain their sovereignty, but I would bet the farm that one of Putin's demands would be that the government is removed, Zelensky leaves the country and is never to return. And Russia puts in place a puppet government
