Fellas, 107 twin cam build from 103 softail. S&S cam plate/oil pump and cams. Rebuilt heads with headwork. Booked in for tune but but it's 7 weeks away. Really keen to fire it up. Would there be any issues just letting it idle on current powervision tune. Need to make sure all is well before it heads off. Thanks in advance

Contact power vision in the USA and tell them exactly what you have. They might have a calibration close enough to have you safely running it in

What are your arrangements with the shop ? Is he going to do heat cycles and seat the rings ? If so, don't touch it, trailer it to the shop.
If he is expecting you to do the basics, ask him for a starter map. If he hasn't got one, you're likely talking to the wrong shop.
Don't idle it without knowing the map is appropriate to the build. Don't try to run it in yourself , if you don't know what you're doing.
If you go about it the wrong way, you will be putting at risk the dollars you have spent.

Thanks for the reply fellas. Bike is getting tuned at Pro Cycle Dyno Brissy. Has a very good name. I'll hit him up for something close as they are un aware at this point it's a new build but I'll let them know that also.

I'm pretty handy on the tools and have had a good play with target tune etc with wide band sensors however I'm by no means a tuner nor a professional. I do however like to do everything myself as much as possible anyway.

Will hit them up for  something close

Do a bit of reading on doing heat cycles. Use your Powervision to monitor temps, afr and timing.
Do a bit of reading on seating rings and compression braking.
You could use a lighter dino oil for this and change oil and filter before the dyno.
Fred would likely give you a few suggestions.
