G'day, I have a 2004 Deuce (carby) and am in need of some jets, had a cam put in it a few years back and they fitted larger jets - naturally - standard carby, ever since that was done its always shit sparkplugs after about 1500klm and blows very black pipes therefore running rich. Looking for some jets that I could try - happy to buy - but wanna try them as I don't want to lean it out. when I say try I mean buy a few different sizes TIA - Harro

A few ways you can go.
Dynojet Carb kit or a HD dealer for jets.
If you have no way to measure the AFR(mixture), consider a dyno tune.

You got an adjustable ignition module on it? My 01 FXDX had the SE one, you could plug this dongle in that came with it and adjust curves etc, I didn't play with it as the dyno tuner had it sorted but you need something, jets alone won't sort it completely.

CV40 carb parts are still available from Stealerships, you should only need a few different sizes to get in the ballpark.

Thanks gentlemens, heading to ACT in a couple of days so I'll get some service items and see if they have any jets
