hi all . i've been reading about repairable write offs not needing a viv once they are 15 years + as long as they have never failed a previous viv .

Hey mate, never tried doing a bike over 15 years though have done 2 bikes through the full process. If you do end up doing a full check use the bloke down in Frankston…knows all the rules and extremely helpful…. “DONT” go to Faulkner!!

hi , i've heard bad things about many of the viv inspectors and the process so thanks for recommending someone . i called vicroads and they said all that will be needed is a roadworthy due to the bikes age so with any luck i dodged some major headaches and costs.

Cannot hurt to start with a Roadworthy and give it a crack...  Nothing lost
