Fouling plugs

My 2011 Softail standard has a problem of fouling plugs.
Ive been getting 150 to 180 klms to a tank.
So I thought I'd give autotune another go on the fp3.
I went for a 180klm ride down to Philip island.
It's currently popping and farting when cold, but once at full temp runs ok.
When I got home I pulled DTC codes P0132 and P0151.
Bike has big radius pipes and screaming eagle intake.
    Also running a 259e cams.
Anything I should check before i buy new o2 sensor? I've checked the wiring connection and it seems good.
Bike runs fine once up to temp but still fouling plugs, and what I cons6to be using too much fuel.

I have 2011 fxst   have stage 1, SEPST,  S/E heavy breather, and SE slip ons.
I have had 406km once, but always 340/ 360km.  Have never had a dyno, just someone who knew how to tune properly who worked for HD in the states.

Sounds like you need a good tune,

I could only dream of 400ks.
My first Harley, so I might take to to a tuner and get it right so I can just enjoy it instead of riding it with issues

Any recommendations on tuners in either Frankston or Dandenong areas?

    1.  Did this just start like magic?  Or was there a tweak or change prior?

There's a high probability its buggered O2 sensors (if replacing make sure you do the research and buy the right ones)
Could also be an air leak etc.
Have you sprayed cleaner in the throttle body in case its a stuck something? maybe a buggered injector although I would expect a code for that.

I purchased the bike a few months ago. It ran fine as it had new plugs installed.
After a couple of rides they fouled up.
I replaced them and was good again.
I've looked for leaks around intake but couldn't find any.
Haven't sprayed intake yet, I did run injector cleaner through it.
Are the injectors hard to remove? My mate can reco and check them.

They easy enough to get out but I would bet my lefty that the culprit is the tune, no way an F3P could do a decent job with 259's, there are good tuners in Melbourne but they will all want to use something other than what you currently have, if you go with it you will love the result.

Will add though if it's using oil the valve seals or rings could be causing the fouling.

Does not appear to be using oil

Yeah, I recon your on the right track here.  Assuming all else is okay then even Autotune will not make much of a dent in a Map thats well and truly not suited for the engine build.   I have a Thundermax and found a canned Map in in the ones they supply that pretty well nailed my setup on the Sporty, so have never had any issues to date other than when I have over tweaked things as i play around with AFR's/Timing etc

A good tuner will be able to bring it into line - just make sure they deal with the FP3 and sound familiar with your engine build setup.

    Problem solved hopefully.
Previous owner that installed cams added it to tune on fp3 but didn't send info to Vance and Hines for them to send a revised map.
So I received new map and bikes a lot more crisp and smoother.
Will test fuel economy and I'll pull plugs and see how they're going.
Thanks all for your suggestions and feedback
