    Aye t.
these are Sonic brand, chrome still good, have had them for many years, Fatboy 06 for 50 kilometers in 2006, had Screaming Eagle on from new, but came across these Sonic new, cheap. Could do with some baffling.
Your welcome to them, they are tappered, not S&S though. If interested pm me, if not is ok.

hope this gets to you in time.
All mufflers changed from 06 to 07. Mounting brackets specifically. They will not swap easily !

FXSTC Softail Custom/ Softail standard / Nightrain/Heritage/Rocker 2007 to 2017 are all interchangeable

Fatboy and Deluxe mufflers not so without lots of ginning around. Too hard basket for most.

I had heaps of US spec stock OEM tapered mufflers a few years back , they did not have catalytic converters like the Aussie bikes and were "louder" as a result , but NOT as loud as any other aftermarket muffler.

For what it's worth Khromewerks tapered mufflers I rate above S&S.

Thanks for the message mate. Bikes a feral(crossbones with different pipes) and happy to chop and change brackets and mounts if needed.

S&s are discontinued and khrome werks are out of stock so happy to grab anything to play with at this stage.

Any reason why you prefer the khrome werks over S&S

I’ve had both brands in that style. Both are good quality and look the same but the baffles inside are different.

The S&S don’t have baffle options (so one type of baffle only) and the baffle is a straight thru perforated baffle without any restriction. The kw baffles come in different sizes (widths) and have a piece of metal dropped in the middle similar to a Lolly pop.

For police/pits/roadworthy inspection the Khrome Werks have no logos embossed.

Parked up the mufflers look exactly stock. The baffles are a unique design and have worked well for me over the years.

S&S mufflers have that embossed into them , easy for any inspection to spot. They are actually more common in Australia

The tapered Khrome werks you cant change the baffles , that's a feature of Rush mufflers ( which are not tapered !)
