Brake pedal in relation to foot peg.

    Hi there
I went to visit a mate today who’s recently picked up his Street Bob (FXBBS). Nice bike! He’s probably around 6 foot and sits the bike ok.
But he has an issue with the relationship of the rear brake pedal and the footpeg.
Best way I can describe it is: if his right foot is resting on the footpeg in the middle of his foot or his heel he has to move his foot a fair way to the left to operate the brake pedal. It’s really uncomfortable for him. I jumped on the bike and did the same and if I was riding in suburbs where you’re braking a fair bit I’d have a sore ankle in no time. The pedal part needs to come across to the right at least another 5-6cm. It’s a really bad design I think. Any one have the same issue and addressed it or suggestion to overcome it.
    Cheers

Kuryakyn make an extended brake pedal for the touring models.  Put one on my SGs as it was a shit design/location as well.  Not sure if they do one for the Street Bob, might be worth a look.

    Hi there
I’ve checked and there doesn’t seem to be an extender for a Street Bob unfortunately. I appreciate the pedal has to be offset so you don’t ride with your foot on the pedal when you’re relaxed but this design is plain stupid and uncomfortable.
